Australian snowboarder Luke “The Dingo” Trembath has passed away at the age of 38. Monster Energy, which produced Trembath’s UNLEASHED podcast, announced his death on social media on February 28. The cause of his death has not been disclosed.

Trembath first gained national recognition as a snowboarder in Australia at just 13 years old, having started competitive snowboarding at the age of 9. At 14, he relocated to the United States with his mother, settling first in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, before moving to Mammoth Lakes, California. Originally from Mount Martha, a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, he credited his mother for making sacrifices so he could train with the U.S. team.

By the time he was 17, Trembath had turned professional and co-founded Grenade Gloves, a brand specializing in snowboard gloves. In 2008, he gained further recognition starring alongside two-time Olympic silver medalist Danny Kass in the Fuel TV series The Adventures of Danny and the Dingo.

Beyond snowboarding, Trembath was passionate about guiding the next generation. In 2018, he co-founded Find Your Grind, an organization dedicated to helping students explore career paths and prepare for the future. He explained in a 2020 Authority Magazine interview that he wanted to help young people discover their passions and connect with opportunities that align with their interests.

Along with Kass and former UFC ring girl Brittney Palmer, Trembath also co-hosted the UNLEASHED podcast for Monster Energy. Following the news of his passing, Palmer shared her heartbreak on Instagram, writing, “A loss for words 💔. I can’t believe this.”
