Jake Bongiovi’s proposal to Millie Bobby Brown was anything but ordinary—he popped the question underwater!
During a February 2025 interview with Vanity Fair, Brown shared the unique story of their engagement, revealing that Bongiovi proposed while they were scuba diving. The Stranger Things actress described the moment as “magical” and said she was completely surprised when he presented her with a temporary ring beneath the waves.
The ring, as it turns out, wasn’t the real deal. Brown later explained that Bongiovi initially proposed with a placeholder ring, knowing how much she cherished the moment rather than the jewelry itself. He later gave her a proper engagement ring, which she proudly wears.
Their unconventional engagement was just the beginning of their love story, leading to a private wedding in May 2024, followed by a larger ceremony in October of the same year.
