The Seattle Seahawks have a wide receiver problem this offseason after the team has unloaded both DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
The move with Lockett was expected, as the 32-year-old had a massive cap hit in 2025 after falling to third in the team’s receiver pecking order last season thanks to the emergence of Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The Metcalf trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers wasn’t surprising, but his initial trade request certainly was.
