Jennifer Aniston was forced to deal with a scary situation when a California man was held at gunpoint on her property this week. The former Friends actress had the gates of her LA mansion crashed into by a vehicle driven by Jimmy Wayne Carwyle, who is now being investigated as a possible stalker. He was reportedly looking to get close to the famous star and grab her attention with the dangerous stunt.

According to TMZ, Carwyle drove through the gates of Jennifer Aniston’s home in Bel Air. However, her security was quick to react and was forced to hold the man at gunpoint until the police arrived on the scene. The man was arrested and taken into custody. Now, they’re looking into evidence that he could be a stalker and social media posts paint a scary picture.

Last October, a social media account with Jimmy Wayne Carwyle’s name shared a disturbing message about Aniston.

“God, ‘Daddy’ always watches me & watches those who bless me, helping me get ready to see my bride Jennifer Joanna Aniston Carwylce should be y’all’s top priority!” the post read.

Currently, Carwyle is being held at the LA County jail without bail. His charges are said to possibly include felony vandalism. However, if police can find enough evidence, stalking could also be added on as well.

Aniston was home at the time of the incident. However, she reportedly had no interaction with Carwyle. She remains safe and unharmed.

Of course, fans had plenty to say about the situation, and many took to Reddit to share their thoughts.

“The gates had one job and they let our girl down,” one person wrote.

I hope the charge gets bumped up from property damage to home invasion and whatever else this person was planning to do after he broke through the gates,” another stated.

“All jokes aside, this is actually scary. I’m glad she’s okay and hopefully this man will leave her alone from now on,” a third person commented.

If it turns out Aniston does have a stalker, it won’t be the first time she’s had something like this happen. Hollywood.com reports that in 2010, a man with a history of criminal stalking spent more than a week trying to find Jennifer, telling police that he was in a relationship with the actress. He was eventually arrested and placed on a psychiatric hold.

Several other celebrities have had scary stalker situations in the past. Stars like Selena Gomez, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Sandra Bullock, and Taylor Swift have all been victims of stalking.

Thankfully, Jennifer Aniston is doing well after the scary event, and fans are wishing her the best.
