A lot of information about how Sean “Diddy” Combs acted on the UCLA campus has to come to light since his arrest.

The rap mogul is a noted celebrity, and he reportedly acted like it. According to the Los Angeles Times, Diddy would essentially make his own rules when he visited his son, Justin.

You get what you asked for with Diddy, though. According to former UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel, Diddy’s celebrity status was a big reason why his son was accepted to the school in the first place. Neuheisel also said the rapper didn’t know who the coach was during the recruiting trip.

“I did recruit Justin Combs and Sean as his father, I took them on their campus tour,” Neuheisel said on SiriusXM’s College Sports Nation on Tuesday. “As a matter of fact, like a half hour into it, he asked me who I was.”

He seriously didn’t know the head coach?

“No,” he said. “And he said, ‘Tell me what you do, Rick?’ I said ‘Well I’m the head football coach here.’ ‘Really?’ And I said ‘Yeah.’ ‘And you’re giving us the tour?’ I said ‘Absolutely, this is my school, this is where I went. I want you to get a feel of what it’s like to be a student here…'”

Diddy was arrested earlier this week after he was accused of assaulting Sal Alosi, the Bruins’ strength and conditioning coach. The details of the incident are still unclear, but Diddy said he acted in self defense.

The Times report has two sources that state Alosi was “berating” and “demeaning” Diddy’s son during football practice. Justin then reportedly shook his head, which led to Alosi telling him to get off the field for the rest of the summer. According to TMZ, this was not the first time something like this had happened.
