Meghan Trainor almost just broke the internet with her latest Instagram post after announcing she’s been taking Mounjaro to slim down.
The pop star recently shared pictures of herself in a revealing bikini, allowing her to flaunt her drastic weight loss. The saucy post didn’t come long after she opened up about taking Mounjaro with her husband to get healthy and lose weight after months of the internet speculating that she was using more besides diet and exercise. Meghan Trainor Posts Several Bikini Pictures On Instagram
On Tuesday, May 27th, the “All About That Bass” singer posted pictures of herself wearing a chic, two-piece Dior bathing suit on Instagram. She posed in a stunning tropical setting and revealed in her post details that she had taken a trip to Maui, Hawaii.
“Out of office,” she captioned her post containing five photos of her flaunting her slim figure in the bathing suit. Meghan wore her signature long locks down with loose curls, some stylish sunglasses, gold jewelry, and high heels, looking super trendy in vacation mode.
She seemingly took a trip after a busy couple of months, performing live at events like Wango Tango and putting out new music with artists like Mimi Webb. Like with many of her social media posts these days, once fans saw the new pictures of her showing off her tinier frame, they flooded the comments section with words of praise. However, other internet users couldn’t help but comment on her weight loss and use of medication.
The Internet Reacts To Meghan’s Bikini Photos
This is not the first time the Smurfs voice actress has shared pictures of herself in a two-piece since losing weight, but it still caused quite a stir in the comments.
“Queen, you’re breathtaking!” commented a supportive fan.
“You look amazing!” added another.
“She looks like an actual Barbie doll,” wrote a user, as another stated she looked “unreal.”
Other Instagram users were shocked by Meghan’s new body, and since she announced she had been taking the popular weight loss medication, Mounjaro, in March, they felt the need to point it out and express some slight disappointment in the confident musician.
“No more empowerment [when] you use Mounjaro,” wrote an Instagram user.
“Ozempic got this one too,” speculated a user. “All about that bass, huh?”
Another user called the singer out for her recent controversial lyric change at Wango Tango, where on stage, instead of singing that she “ain’t no size two” during “All About That Bass,” she made a joke about her new chest, which she admitted to having done via cosmetic surgery.
“I knew deep down she wanted to be that size two,” added a user under her post.
While it’s unclear how much weight the vocalist has lost over the last few years, her losing weight has been a pressing topic, primarily due to her coming out on the scene as a curvier woman who sang about loving your body. Still, she insists that her weight loss, though it progressed through the use of medication, changed her life for the better and helped her become a better mom to her two sons, as well as a better performer.
