Lauren Sanchez has sparked speculation after sharing a cryptic Instagram Story about “mistakes” just days after an awkward interview discussing her wedding plans with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
The post read, “There is no shame in making mistakes while trying to figure things out. The goal is to live a fulfilling life, not a perfect one.”
Earlier in the week, Sanchez appeared on Today with Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, where she hesitantly revealed a glimpse of her wedding preparations.
“Very excited about it,” she admitted, “thinking about the dress… I do have a Pinterest, I’m just like every other bride.”
She added that, at 54, she’s thrilled to be embarking on a new chapter. “I never thought at, I’m gonna be 55, that I’d be an author, that I’d be getting married… Life is just beginning.”
Sanchez, who has been engaged to Bezos since May 2023, has not publicly disclosed her wedding date, but reports suggest the event is planned for Aspen this winter.
During her Today segment, she offered reassurance to viewers, saying, “When I was 20, I thought, ‘Oh my gosh, life is over at 50.’ Let me tell you, it is not, ladies. It just gets better and better.”
Despite the candid insights, her cryptic post has left fans speculating whether it hints at deeper reflections or is merely a motivational note. Sanchez has consistently shared her admiration for Bezos, calling him “the man of my dreams.”
