UFC fighter David Onama has found himself in the middle of the Zach Bryan and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia controversy.

After his victory at UFC 309, Onama shouted out the “Pink Skies” singer during his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan. On SiriusXM’s Fight Nation podcast, Onama revealed that his management was approached by a promoter offering concert tickets in exchange for the mention, which he described as a promotional request.

Onama later clarified on social media, stating that Bryan did not directly contact him. “Zach did not reach out to me at all about this. Was simply supporting someone who always supported my team,” he wrote. Meanwhile, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy called Bryan a “pathetic little man,” amplifying the controversy.

The drama follows LaPaglia’s allegations of emotional abuse during her year-long relationship with Bryan. She claims the country star exhibited troubling behavior, including an incident where he allegedly berated her friends and broke glass at a gathering. Bryan has yet to respond to these allegations.
