Vanessa Hudgens is celebrating spooky season!
In a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Oct. 9, the actress, 35, showed off her look as she and her husband Cole Tucker took a nice off parenting duties for a “lil spooky date night 🎃.”
Marking her first Halloween as a mom, Hudgens held up a mini cauldron that appeared to contain a cocktail as she pouted and smiled at the camera in the first photo. The High School Musical alum dressed casually for the outing, wearing a low-cut strappy black top, blue jeans and a black belt with a gold buckle. Her black locks were styled in loose waves, while she accessorized her ensemble with a heart choker necklace.
The black-and-white snap was followed by a second shot revealing the spooky decor in their date night location, including cobwebs and spiders on the walls and a haunted house backdrop.
Hudgens flashed a huge smile at the camera as she posed for the snap, which appeared to have been taken by her MLB player husband, 28.
The Bad Boys: Ride or Die star is a big fan of Halloween and has been posting about her excitement for the holiday in its runup.
On Oct. 1, Hudgens marked the start of spooky season with a black-and-white carousel of photos of herself posing next to a pumpkin outside a home.
“Happy October 1st from me and my giant pumpkin 🎃,” she wrote. It was reported that she and Tucker had welcomed their first baby together in early July. TMZ was first to report the birth.
Days later, Hudgens confirmed that her little one had arrived with a message on her Instagram Stories where she acknowledged she wasn’t the first to share the news.

“We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media,” she wrote.
Hudgens added, “Despite all of that, mom dad and baby are happy and healthy.”
The couple has not revealed their child’s birth date, sex or name.
